10 Oct 1853 Inventory of the Estate of David Carson, Senr.
This is not a complete list by any stretch of the imagination. What is Britannia Ware? It is Britannia metal (also called britannium or Britannia ware). It is a specific type of pewter alloy, favoured for its silvery appearance and smooth surface. The composition is typically about 92% tin, 6% antimony, and 2% copper. Britannia metal is usually spun rather than cast, and melts at 255 degrees Celsiusion.
Some lines in the list are simply too difficult to make out, but here's what I could read. This will give you an idea as to how David and Sarah Carson lived.
A true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods, Chattels and personal Estate of David Carson, Senior, late of Baltimore City, deceased - Appraised by the Subscribers David Taylor and James Peregoy jointly, we having been first legally authorized and having taken the Oath prescribed by Law as will be ____ by the Warrant to Appraise and Certificate thereon hereto annexed.
