John Carson(s) Mentioned In:
Records of Md. Troops in the Continental Service During the

I'm sorry to say I didn't write down the url of the source of this info. I'll attempt to find it again and place them here. I honestly don't know if this is all the same individual or not. I've noticed that on pg. 353 it shows Capt. John Sprig Belt as Retiring on 1 Jan 1783, but on pg. 487 it shows the Captain of the 3rd Company is Capt. John S. Belt. These are all the pages that came up when doing a search for "John Carson".

Pg. 487: Seems to list the various men who died & deserted. Most of the men listed have no notes across from their names. The latest date on the page is 30th of April 1783. Here in the list under 3rd Company. Capt. John S. Belt, is John Carson S., with S. indicating his rank.
