John Carson(s) Mentioned In:

Records of Md. Troops in the Continental Service During the

War of the American Revolution, 1775-83

I'm sorry to say I didn't write down the url of the source of this info. I'll attempt to find it again and place them here. I honestly don't know if this is all the same individual or not. I've noticed that on pg. 353 it shows Capt. John Sprig Belt as Retiring on 1 Jan 1783, but on pg. 487 it shows the Captain of the 3^rd Company is Capt. John S. Belt. These are all the pages that came up when doing a search for "John Carson".

Pg. 487: Seems to list the various men who died & deserted. Most of the men listed have no notes across from their names. The latest date on the page is 30^th of April 1783. Here in the list under 3^rd Company. Capt. John S. Belt, is John Carson S., with S. indicating his rank.
