Among the Lorelle Parott Weidlein information that was shared with me by Karen Kidd, is the data below that is stated to be "copied from markers in the Kennard Lot in the Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland". She notes that there is a monument with the engraving "To Our Parents" The Kennard lot was purchased by Annie M. Kennard on September 8, 1876.
Lorelle adds that, "the following were moved from Western Cemetery to Loudon Park. Lucy Kennard, Louisa Kennard, William H. Kennard, Amelia S. Kennard, Baltis Branson, Mary Branson, Barbara Forney, Almira Kennard, Thomas Hooper (infant). Nathaniel Webb was moved in 1878 from Mt. Olivet Cemetery (Sept. 6, 1878)
I can't tell for sure what info. was on the monuments and which she added. I'll simply type it as she wrote it. Information I add will appear in red. |

This is a portion of one of the two hand-written pages by Lorelle showing placement of the graves of the individuals buried in the Kennard Plot. The graphic on this page is NOT a picture of the monument in the graveyard. It was simply created to express my feelings about the folks I've read about, and to put you in the proper frame of mind. As stated on other pages on this site, if you're using an IBM compatible PC and want to view the graphic in its full size, simply right click on the image below and your graphics editor application should open on your PC and open the graphic file for you. (What a sentence! I've been reading WAY too much of Baltis' works...grin) |
