283There is a Henry Drach listed on the 1830 Maryland census as living in Frederick Co. in the 7th district on pg. 224. There is a Peter Drach with identical info.& pg.
2In the 1850 Maryland Census, #9, Franklin District, Carroll Co. there's listed: Henry 47, Daniel L. 21, Hanson M. 19, Peter E. 13, John T. 11, Winfield S. 8, Mary L. 6, Henry Lee 4, Elizabeth Young 45, Catharine 10, George Able 19, and Catharin ___ 16 from Germany.

The next farm south of the old Henry Drach farm �?" whose father was Adam (and who brings me back to where I planted the Bowersox farm) Henry Drach�?Ts father was Adam E. Drach. Henry�?Ts mother was �?oLeister�??. A widow Myers. Myers owned the farm. He drowned himself in a large spring or sinkhole on the farm and his widow who had other children married Adam Drach, Henrys father. Henry being the only child by her second marriage and that�?Ts where old Henry got his start for he was rich. He married a Maurer and she too had money. But as always some people cant stand prosperity and the young. Source: Journal written by Peter Baile, who died in 1819.
