677John Tilden's will was dated 5 Aug 1746 and proved 13 Oct 1746. In it he leaves:
To son John TILDEN, my dwelling plantation called "Bishford Resurvey".
To dau. Catharine TILDEN the other half of my lot at Chestertown.
To son, Wm. Blay tract and plantation called "Blay's Range" and "Blay's Addition", 200 acres and 75 acres.
To son, Wm. Blay my lot in Georgetown, which I bought of Mr. Gideon Pearce.
To dau. Cathrine, cattle.
To cousin John Thomas, stock.
To sister, Ann WILLSON, a suit of mourning.
To my sons, John and Wm. Blay, land called "Blay's Range".
To my good friend, Wm. Hynson...
To my dau., Catharine TILDEN...
To cousin Mrs. Sarah KENNARD, and
To pay due regard to her aunt Wethered.
Appoint son John TILDEN, Ex.

208Col. Edward Blay and his wife, Madam Ann Blay, are buried in a private graveyard at Blay's Range, about one mile northwest of Shrewsbury church. In the vault containing their remains, is a tablet with the following inscription: Within this enclosure are the remains of the following named persons: Col. Edward Blay & wife of England; William Blay (only son of Edward & wife) and wife Isabella, daughter of Col. Pearce, with their issue: Rachel, Catherine, Isabella, Edward & William.

Rachel Blay & Peregrine Brown of England, her husband, and their son Pererine; her second husband Aquilla Pearce & their daughter Martha.

Catherine & John Tilden and their children: Isabella & Richard Wethered of London, her husband, and their children William, John, Samuel & John (William excepted)

This inscription and the enclosure done by the direction of John Wethered, who died on the 21 Feb 1822, in the 77th year of his age.
