142Baronees Clifford, being left a widow, bequeathed her mansion house in St. Dunstan's parish, Fleet Street, to the apprentices of the bench ( by which name the students at law were then called) and which is still called Clifford's Inn. Robert, Baron Clifford, died sine prole, and his brother Roger Clifford is noted below. | ||||||||||
