Below you'll find many photos of our early Carson ancestors and relatives whose roots are tied to the city of Baltimore, Maryland. Some moved to other locations because of sympathies they held for the Confederacy, and some moved to the west to build in California during the gold rush era. Many of the photos have been damaged through time, and where possible without altering the appearance of an individual, I "fixed" the problem areas. Some of the photos were originally fairly small. I provide a larger version of those photos here.

A very early photo of Marion Wilson Carson nee Reppard. She is Martha Orr's great grandmother. Marion was the wife of David Carson Carson seen at right, dau. of Carville Hynson Carson & Sarah Frances Gere, and gdau. of David Carson & Sarah Tilden Hynson. She was b. 15 Sep 1869 d. 3 Jun 1945

At left in the photo is Joshua & Julia Childs Carson's daughter, Ada Belle Scarbrough nee Carson (12 Feb 1863 - 25 May 1951). The other young woman is Julia Carson Malone (14 Mar 1874 - 22 Mar 1966), granddaughter of Joshua & Julia, and daughter of their daughter, Julia Kate Carson Malone. Julia A. Carson nee Childs was the wife of David Carson's son, Joshua, and the grandmother of Julia Carson Bond, and her younger sister, Anna whose pictures appear to the right. All photos were found in the personal effects of Julia Bond's first cousin, John Ottinger's grandmother, Julia Carson Malone (1874-1966). Photo at left above is dated 1891, and the photo on the right is dated 1896.

Julia and Anna were the daughters of Joshua B. Bond and Sarah E. Carson of Baltimore, Md.
